1. Mallika Sherawat
If I had to pick the very best thing about being vegan, it's my clear conscience, says Sherawat. After doing a host item numbers, Mallika who has virtually shifted base to L.A., will now be seen in the upcoming film Kismat, Love, Paisa, Dilli opposite Vivek Oberoi. She'll be playing a Haryani girl in the film, which is supposed to have some steamy scenes as well.
2. Dhanush
Being a vegetarian always made me feel healthy. I've always felt light. Every time I sit down to eat, I'm helping the environment, adds Kolaveri Di singer Dhanush. I'm proud to be a vegetarian. Go PETA, go green. Dhanush, the Tamil star and son-in-law of superstar Rajinikanth, became a super sensation all over India with his record breaking song Kolaveri Di, from the movie '3'. The song was sung by Dhanush himself and the movie stars him opposite the leggy lass Shruti Hassan.
3. Tough Competition
The two winners, voted the hottest, had a stiff competition from Sonu Sood, Shahid Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Kareena Kapoor. The dozens of gorgeous celebrities in this year's contest show how a vegetarian diet makes you beautiful inside and out, says PETA India's chief functionary.
4. Last Year's Winners
The coveted crown of last year's Hottest Vegetarian was given to our very sensuous Vidya Balan amongst the females and Vivek Oberoi, who is now the villain on Krrish 2, amongst the male celebs.
